Letter from the President

Hello,

My name is Alex Jones and I am the current chapter president for Beta Gamma. I am excited to welcome you to our website, and I encourage you to take a look around. Here you will find the history of Delta Gamma on a national level, as well as the fun experiences and memories that the women at the University of Utah have because of our Beta Gamma chapter. 

I am currently a junior at the University of Utah, and went through recruitment in the Fall of 2019. When I came to college, I was excited to find new friends and have new experiences. I knew that I wanted to join a sorority, but I would have never guessed the incredible experiences it has given me. Delta Gamma has been an important and beautiful part of my journey to become the woman I am today. 

All of my friends, volunteer opportunities, and favorite memories are thanks to my time as a Delta Gamma. I have found values that I hold true to myself; social responsibility that continually allows me to progress as a leader in my community, educational and cultural interests that have provided my life diversity and passion, and friendships that will last much longer than my four years in college. Delta Gamma has given me a support system, a place to find comfort and laughter in times of need, and an environment that allows my education to continue outside of the classroom. Delta Gamma is not just an organization that lasts the four years of college, but will stick with you for the rest of your life.
